I feel like I've just caught a glimpse of the future of blockbuster cinema. It could be worse, but it's not very good. Most interesting as a meta-reflection of the style filtered through an outsider's eye of the perceived strengths of Hollywood blockbuster filmmaking, Bollywood cinema and Indian culture, and a myopic insider's perspective of a Chinese cultural and economic resurgence. It feels clunky and manufactured, as stilted as the aging Jackie Chan doing his thing, but has some moments.

A mildly lukewarm mish mash of "National Treasure," "The Tuxedo," and "The Hangover". Chan has done worse in recent years and this one feels pretty close to the best he's put out since returning to China, only with a dumbed down big budget Hollywood sensibility, not that big budget Hollywood needs any dumbing down. Still, it got mass appeal and a competent delivery.

A throwback to the early 2000s when Jackie Chan movies were profoundly unwatchable. Im an action fan so my suspension of disbelief and plotflaw tolerance are high but this comes all guns blazing to kill both of those at every turn. It wants to be India Jones in such a weird way. Awkwardly panders to bollywood, tho ill say if the entire movie was directed with the care and fun of the dance scene at the end id give this double the score i am.

This is a silly but entertaining film. Some of the Computer graphics in this film are good and some look bad. Jackie Chan as always is a joy to watch. Overall I would recommend this film.

Mix of China, India, Dubai stereotypes with golden ligting. Some hand to hand combat. Big dance scene. Theatrical. Some Indiana Jones flashes. First part is videogame quality CGI.

Kung Fu Yoga (2017) doesn't match the fun of last years Skiptrace (2016), but as long as you love Jackie Chan you'll get something out of this. It's main failure is that it tries to be too international mixing Chinese and Indian culture in a lame way. What it does bring is Jackie Chan dancing as if he was in a Bollywood movie!!! Not sold, huh? Well, I enjoyed that.

Good for kids but painful for just about anyone else.

Just silly fun. Everyone involved was too distractingly gorgeous. Didn't pay attention to the pointless CG or plot. This is one of the better terrible Jackie Chan films. Had typical JC trademarks such as props, double-team fighting, mirroring humor, etc. Fav scenes: car chase with a lion! and the great ending Bollywood dance number after a typical Bollywood "whatever, let's end this" ending.

One of the worst movies Jackie Chan has created. The idea to add Kung Fu to Yoga and Yoga to Kung Fu was nice, but little childish. Beautiful picturisation, however story is lacking substance.

I think it's a kids' movie maybe?? It has all the elements of one in the silliness. Plus some Bing product placement level of bad integration of Indian culture to the movie. The bad CGI brought down many scenes and was just too distracting. The side characters are only there to look pretty and fill the scene Jackie Chan is sadly too old to do himself anymore.
