I'm going to go back in time and castrate Billy Ray Cyrus.

This film is epitome of white people trying their hardest to make their incredibly lucky lives so difficult. Utter nonsense. Incredibly weird relationship between the daughter and mother.

Apart from the script being corny, and some of the dialog/voiceover almost unbearably so, I actually have nothing in particular to fault. I have not yet become so jaded and cynical that I was unable to enjoy this film, which features a fairly interesting weave of coherent, likeable characters, a plot that progresses pretty naturally rather than confirming to a blueprint and some quite touching moments. Not cinema gold or anything, just a pleasant, competent feel-good film.
