Is the ascendance of the stairs, whereupon a woman indirectly finds beauty, meant to be some allegory to Plato? A tragic, social constructivist account of how we are all entrapped by delusions, providing cynical commentary on whatever authority fortune tellers thought they had and had effectively over those workers the woman was portrayed as being part of in the beginning? Emancipation? A bunch of stuff tossed together, hoping the ensuing confusion would lead some to attribute genius to it?

the sand-like aesthetic was beautiful, and some of the visual effects were simply extraordinary.
