Interesting idea. Dead lovers, ghosts, talking about their rough experience with the same lady. However the idea was better then the stories making up the movie. For they were not as traumatic as it could have been. They die of course, but it's not exactly abuse. Some fine touched by the elegant craftsman Max Ophüls which make the film feel intimate, but it's not among his most regarded works.
