Monroe makes her debut in a short, boring, and badly written movie. You can easily see that she didn't get more work because of a top notch performance, or character choice, but because of her looks, which is evident from the title. Be glad it's less than 70 minutes, if you must watch it, but if you don't have to there's no sense in it, unless you're a glutton for punishment.

Ladies of the Chorus (1948) was the first film Marilyn Monroe got a large role in. And to no ones surprise it was in a cheap movie as a burlesque queen. One where a guy from a higher social circle falls for this sex bomb without pedigree. Weak story, but it's so easy to see Marilyn Monroe had 'it'. Not a instant hit, but it wouldn't be many years until she was Hollywood's biggest star, and it's amazing to experience that in its infancy.
