Dama por um dia estreava há 90 anos em New York. Olha por ser um Capra pre code eu esperava mais, todo mundo parece amar esse filme, mas eu não consegui. O Capra prefere o remake com a Bette Davis, talvez ele também seja mais a minha praia. Plus: Warren William é o original The Dude. Rá! Box OP Frank Capra.

The ending is a tad rushed and feels unnecessarily convoluted, but the rest of it is some great breezy fun.

Early film of humanist director Frank Capra is a merry tale of the old alcoholic woman becoming high society lady for a day to impress father of her daughter's fiancée. Making a film with a 70 year old heroin must have been risky even back then. Story is pure sentiment. There are funny dialogs, but overall this is one of the weaker films of Capra.
