Lake Michigan Monster

This is a fun ride that gets pretty creative with shot framing in order to keep things interesting. Filled with very silly humor that made me laugh but I could see it putting others off. That last sentence could come directly from my Tinder profile if I had one. Swipe the direction that means maybe. Up?

The film is kind of a slog to get through, at only 78 minutes, but there is some fun to had and it is very clear that everyone was having the time of their lives on this. The technical aspects are astounding, but the story telling is a bit wonky.

Uneven but entertaining. The first half is superior as the ensemble work well together. Second half feels more of a drag and that's largely due to being solo character driven. The passion put into the project out weighs any cons and it's worth your time
