Keep in mind that this 20th Century Fox movie is released just a month after Selznick's The Prisoner of Zenda (1937) and it's practically the same story except they moved it to World War 1. This plot had more holes then the Zenda movie. Plus the casting, while many great actors, was more peculiar then good. This was supposed to be George Sanders grand introduction as a top player doing the dual roles, but I have a feeling he'll put on much better performances then this.
