Land of Cards

The core theming of the film is rote despite how convoluted the narrative is at a glance, but the film is full of flair and crazy surrealist imagery that I couldn't help but get roped along for the madness. The way to look at this film is not within the mindset of its message about revolution or breaking societal norms being strong in of itself, but how the movie conveys this through its filmmaking. The contextual subtitles, the sensual use of music, and erratic "plot" are just examples of this.
