Land of Doom

Another forgettable cheap 80's post-apocalyptic "Mad Max" type rip-off, where about 98% of the movie is just your standard studded leather clad idiots riding cheap tricked out motorbikes through the desert causing mayhem chasing after someone for revenge or something. But when that other 2%...of cannibals, or insert random puppy stealing{?}/bicycle riding/deus ex machina flamethrower wielding tramp{?} and his new found friends, the random gaggle of Jawas{?}...the movie turns oddly memorable.

It's a crappy Mad Max clone. It's pretty bad, but as a low budget, probably direct to VHS , movie, it's not all bad. It actually has a nice message of cooperation and not raping people with a decent pace and plot. It goes off the rails at the end though. What's with the music? Cheesy Saturday morning cartoon music during the big shootout. And then rock pillars start blowing up for some reason. If you like bad movies, this is a fun easy to watch romp.
