Not Romero's best, however it's still a more than adequate zombie flick. As ever, it contains Romero's social commentary, paired with great violent horror movie scenes. I was amused to see Asia Argento, given her relation to Dario Argento, who makes the same type of films as Romero. Compared to the horror movies of today, it's practically a masterpiece. Still, it's a good, but not great addition to the "Dead" series.

loved this newly added film to Romeros series. Spine-chilling and graphic. Much enjoyed

It's alright. I'm not sure what makes it less interesting to me than Night of the Living Dead, Dawn or Day of the dead. Perhaps time will make me fonder of this one.

The lesser of the DEAD films, but its still more interesting intellectually and artistically than the zombie-mania that has hit Hollywood in the last few years (save for maybe 28 DAYS LATER). Plus, its nice being reminded of ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK when watching LAND.

Good fourth installment of the zombie movies from Romero. Takes the dead to intelligent form.

though not the greatest of the romero films that one still belongs to dawn of the dead this film still knocks most recent horror films out of the water with themes of class and economy.

Although I am a huge Romero fan, I felt "Land of the Dead" fell short in comparison to the rest of the "dead" series. Good movie, but not the best one by any means.

Awesome movie, very original take on the whole zombies taking over the earth thing (this one wakes place well after the deal was done, so it's the story of the continuing struggle). Kinda had an Orwell feel to it.

Not the best of Romero due to jarring comic elements and unfocused plot, it still is an effective zombie movie worth checking out if a fan.

At the risk of enraging George Romero fans everywhere, this film was mediocre. Problem-solving zombies make about as much sense as Dennis Hopper agreeing to appear in this movie. Satisfy your cravings for yummy brains elsewhere.

I can't rank it too low because it's a zombie movie, but come on Romero. You can do much better then this. The long-awaited sequel to the (in my opinion) greatest entry in the Dead series should not "kind of suck."

20 points are devoted solely to how hot Asia Argento is. Another 20 are solely out of pity.

Good zombie film in a time where zombie films aren't high in demand... The CG and corny "zombies with growing intelligence" tend to ruin things a little.

Ok, I'm just a sucker for zombie movies. NMuuuuuuuhhhh "HEADSHOT!" etc. Plus in this one the zombies cross a river by walking under water. Ignoring the fact that the freezing water would dull motor and muscle function they cross the water like a bunch of brain nomming scuba-zombies. Tits.

Though there's some elements of what made Dawn & Day so enjoyable, most of the charm & novelty from the previous three films is lost in this installment. The story seems cluttered & unsure of what it's trying to be, & the main theme is a watered down version of the one seen in Day. Certain ideas, like a fenced-off city living just out of the apocalypse's reach, are interesting, but they aren't explored all that deeply. The characters are hollow, & the performances are iffy. It's nothing special.

I love zombie films, books, games, etc. Also love the work of Romero. This one is a good movie. Not as subtle of a social commentary as his previous films.

Romero's "thinking zombies" are better than it sounds, but not as good as the original Dawn of the Dead.

decent zombie flick, nothing fantastic. although ramero does pose some interesting questions about segregation/classism/racism in this one.
