Largo Winch

Straight forewards action flick.

A solidly made and engaging action movie. Not too deep and not too many unexpected turns. There is a lot of "luck" in the plot, both with protagonist's ability to escape perilous situations, but also with the antagonist's remarkable ability to put him in those situations to begin with. A bit of eye rolling and suspension of disbelief. Melanie Theirry was very captivating.

Very good espionage thriller.

The writing is such atrociously written cliche-ridden tosh that it prevents enjoyment at even a basic pulp level. I imagine the flaws in the writing might make sense in a briskly plotted comic but as a film it's just awful
