Borrows elements and plot points from so many places that it feels almost more generic than the already somewhat boring movies it borrows from. The sad thing is that "Last Knights" is not incompetently made, it's not poorly written, and the acting isn't even bad, it's just part of a subgenre that's been so done to death, that you'd have to pull a miracle to make a great movie out of.

Hopefully I've seen Owen as a knight for the last time. Basically they took his armor from King Arthur and paint it black. And got some shit script.

None of the swords have hilts. I couldn't stop thinking about it.

Last Knights resembles 47 Ronin, expect it's much, much worse. The film is filled with bad acting, a predictable overdrawn plot, and dull action sequences. Though all those flaws can be overlooked, it's hard to get past the terrible screenplay and script, which at best can be described as choppy. While the film is not completely devoid of talent, you'll have to look hard to find it. Just as disappointing is the villain, whom a better actor, with better dialogue could have made the film fun.

Stilted, heavy-handed over-exposition delivered in broken English by a rag tag legion of two-bit international actors pretending to be poorly drawn anime tropes in a ham-fisted fantasy mashup of a world that lacks even an iota of continuity or logic. tl;dr Morgan Freeman is not God in this movie. -92 points.

A boldly original aesthetic and a strikingly multicultural cast (next step: include a female character) sets this movie apart from a long line of wannabe fantasy epics, and it is further elevated by a patient pace, clever ideas, and Morgan Freeman. Its execution is far from perfect but certainly good enough; though, honestly, spinning during sword fights just looks stupid and this movie does it worse than most.

Clive Owen as a medieval fighter who seeks to avenge his master's death. Rapidly tilting into so-clever-it's-stupid territory, the story hinges on the sort of dramatic plot twist that exists mainly to delay the inevitable bloodletting for as long as possible, though when it finally arrives, the mayhem is engaging enough on its own workmanlike terms.

Dull and derivative throwaway screenplay. A script this weak never should have made it to the screen.

Two actors, who I usually love to see, are doing their best with a horribly written story that just doesn't work. The shabby story destroys all sense of immersion, with an idiotic kingdom and ludicrous plot points. There could have been much to like, but instead it is tiresome, boring, predictable and ultimately irrelevant. I blame the director for the crappy final result.

It started off oh so well, but then it dropped like a rock when it became a bad rip-off of the Ocean's trilogy placed int the 16th century. I was really disappointed with this one.

Very disappointing. I am a big fan of Clive Owen, but he should steer clear of sword fighting movies. It just doesn't fit him. Also whoever green lighted this script should be beheaded by his own assistant. What a disgrace of a story.

As a Norwegian it was cool to see Aksel Hennie get a sizable international speaking part. He didn't exactly get to say much as Tydeus in Hercules (2014). And he's surrounded by a high-class cast for a remake of the old 47 Ronin (1941) story. However this is overall a uninspiring adventure production. Doesn't really have it's own vision and it drags. The actors does as well as they can with what they're given and that's the strength of Last Knights (2015).

Uninspired, slowpaced and dull ... even with such a cast ! My opinion here : http://opinion-as-a-moviefreak.blogspot.be/2015/05/last-knights-2015.html

This should really be better than it is generally received considering the pedigree of actors involved. It just never really seems to get going, and I found my mind wandering and not giving a crap about what was happening on screen.

Expect a B-movie, but surprisingly engaging overall if given a chance. It was an interesting world, and the director gave time to explain the characters and their motivations. Speeches were well written, acting was rather solid, and the plot weaved well. I liked it more than Kingdom of Heaven at least.

Like a bad cake, it has all the right ingredients but they're not put together well. A cast of actors who were great in other things. A story that is fundamentally the same as several good movies but kinda sucks here. Action sequences that would probably be good if you could see any of them.

Started out really slow and was a bit bored while I watched the first bit of this. Got more engaging later on while watching the characters doing dubious things. A movie that relies heavily on stereotypes. Felt quite cheap at times. I liked the last big sequence of the movie. Nice ending!

A well-crafted medieval action movie with a great cast that really slogs in the middle.
