Last Order: Final Fantasy VII

Basically just a recap of Zack and Cloud's escape from Nibelheim, only with over-the-top anime action. It honestly doesn't do a very good job at detailing the events, as it has quite a few glaring inaccuracies (why does Cloud have glowing mako eyes BEFORE he was experimented on?), doesn't bother fleshing out the characters or the story leading up to this incident and doesn't do much to draw in newcomers either. Still better than Advent Children, but that's a pretty low bar to overcome.

Quite better than Advent Children, but of course not surprising in the technical aspect. The flashback about that important moment of the FFVII story is very well done, is interesting and has a proper duration. It also don't add too many new elements like Crisis Core did. I highly recommend this as the best spin-off made of FFVII, and the one fans will more likely approve.

Not bad.
