Embarrassingly bad.

SPOILERS: The movie would have been 10x stronger if they'd not made it super clear from the get go Gerard's character wasn't responsible. They do so much to layer on that he's a prime suspect but there's too much given to the audience to make us sure he's innocent which detracts from the most compelling element of the movie. Beyond that the plot contrivances are too annoying and the fridging of the female character to change her perspective on a clearly bad relationship is insulting.

I like Gerard and knew this wasn't going to be great, but was in the mood for a silly little adult thriller. It does the job, and isn't overly long. 5.5 for me but marginally closer to a 5 than a 6. I'd consider a 6/10 a good movie. Many consider 6 a poor score. I do not. This was just shy of that level for what I was looking for.

Not good.

The 1990s vibe makes it worthwhile.
