The sequel to "Le mystère de la chambre jaune (1930)" and continues where the first film left off. This one probable lacked that little extra suspense that the first movie in the Rouletabille series had. But it's again very enjoyable watching the mystery unfold. Lots of action, twists and turns. And our hero Roland Toutain is jumping from high angles yet again. Almost as a French version of Douglas Fairbanks Sr. the way he did these kind of adventures a few years earlier. Fine entertainment!
