A pretty decent off brand western for Wayne, but Loren is a little melodramatic.The desert survival element is engaging, the treasure hunt part is fun, but the love triangle just didn't click with me. John Wayne and feelings just don't mix.

It a love triangle, it's not a love triangle, then it's a love triangle that makes one of them crazy. The ending just didn't add up, it would have been more plausible to have the treasure cursed.
