"Back 2 tha Hood" feels like a reboot to the campier "Leprechaun in the Hood"(2000) instead playing it more as a straight forward awkward urban drama that eventually gets invaded by a Leprechaun movie. Instead of a fun weed smoking/rapping Leprechaun, Warwick Davis gets high and spends his time preforming cheap slapstick by getting the shit kicked out of him before eventually just stabbing the person with whatever. Although this version was a little better produced, it loses too much of the fun.

It's kind of sad when this is one of the better films in the franchise.

This was tough to watch. Not as horrible as In Space, but the sixth and last installment is really just another pile of trash. It loses the so bad its good factor and really loses all worth as a movie.

This one's worth seeing for two scenes: In one a guy is smelling his stash of weed and the look on his face is priceless (definitely pause-worthy). In the other, the Leprechaun launches off of a rooftop after his gold, screaming "MY BABIES!" Other than that, pretty shitty.

Even as a kid, when I loved all of the series, I was confused at how awful this was.

The previous film, Leprechaun In the Hood is actually sorta fun in how terrible it is. This is still terrible, but unfortunately it falls completely flat. There is no fun to be had here, no epic badness to revel in. It's just painful. Excruciatingly painful. Please don't watch this. Please. You could be using that time to do something far more productive, like sitting in silent contemplation. Horrendous.

Any film series where an instalment as God-awful as this ends up being among the better half, you're in major trouble. Part II is worth giving a shot if you like campy fun.

Just terrible. Even the Leprechaun looked embarrassed to be in this.

Definitely the worst of the series. Stupid love stories get in the way of the lighthearted humor you need to develop in order to make these movies good or at least bearable. Some humor with another round of stoned leprechaun and "My Ninja"... just not enough.

Leprechaun Back 2 Tha Hood takes an already questionable love it or hate it series and buries it firmly in the garbage heap. The Leprechaun's murderous limericks are completely missing, which eliminates a large amount of potential humor.in an attempt for humor the film comes off more than just slightly racist.

Maybe it lost the element of surprise of the previous one? Not the worst of the lot, but some disappointments still even while the bar is low.

Enough already, if Sticky Fingaz can't save your film, you know you were doomed from the start.

Something of a reboot of the previous entry with a larger budget and a few lessons learned. The cast is more well rounded with real female leads and a more empathetic plight. There's much more humor in this and intentional cheese like rainbows. Warwick is given a lot more screen time and better material to work with. He seems much more in the groove here and with some new green threads this is a nice send off for him. The finale is a bit anticlimactic but overall the series ends on an uptick.

I'm cutting this one a break because the writers decided to make fun of the cheesiness here, especially with the Leprechaun giving a giant black woman a massage by walking on her back. It's still pretty bad, but not that bad.

Seems that after the fifth instalment, where they couldn't possibly go cheaper in terms of production value, the producers backtracked. What they ended up with is a movie much better than parts four and five, but apart from a stoned Leprechaun, there's nothing much worth seeing here.

Worst of the Leprechaun series. That's saying a lot actually.

Warwick Davis sure needed precious monies, huh? I'm suprised that they were able to make so many of these Leprechaun movies. Suprised because in order for them to keep making 'em, they had to have been reeling in some sort of cash flow...and that depresses me.

Extremely dull hood movie. This would be bad enough in itself, but for some reason there's a limerick spouting midget in there. It manages to improve upon the previous installment, but that's not much of a feat, really. The best thing I can say about it is, that it's too boring to hate.

Higher production value than the two previous films of the series, but still a pretty lousy movie.

It's amazing, how each new instance of this finds its own new way to be annoying and exhausting.

Was this a tax write off for someone? Did the producer have a midget nephew that needed work? We will never know!

Better than the previous, but at this point you're just so goddamn tired of that greendressed, rhyming little bastard, that it doesn't matter the slightest.
