Let There Be Light: The Odyssey of Dark Star

Carpenter, who was not interviewed for this, seems to feel a certain amount of disdain for his student film. O'Bannon seems rather fonder of their low-budget existentialist comedy: it's a shame his comedic performance talents were not given other opportunities. No great insights here, and put together in a kind of clunky way, but it tells the unlikely story of the journey from school project to theatrical release, and offers glimpses of the personalities involved.
