This is wildly inconsistent & honestly nothing special, but it does grow on you & there's a certain charm to it. The performances are fine all-around, with the cast all playing off of one-another nicely. Haim & Dolenz have a really nice chemistry together & are the best thing about the whole movie. Still, it just feels...disposable. The story is stilted, the ending feels shoehorned in & out of place, & the drama isn't ever authentic. It's watchable & has a few nice moments, but that's about it.
