İskoçya'da mülteci olmak. Avrupa'ya kaçmış 4 erkek mültecinin yaşam hikayesini izliyoruz. 4 arkadaş, farklı ülkelerden yaşamak için kaçıp, kurtulmak istemişlerdir. Yalnız olmak onları depresyona döndürür. Oyuncuların doğal oynadığı film, İskoçya'nın doğa manzaralarıyla rol çalıyor. Gelecek, yaşam için değerlidir. Filmin sonunda, son konser. Yaşamayı ciddiye alacaksın. Bütün işin gücün yaşamak olacak. Nerelisin? Sivaslıyım.

Really captured the emptiness of being in a state of Limbo. Would have enjoyed a bit more of the humour of the interaction between asylum seekers and the locals but that may have distracted from the central serious feel of the film.

A little gem with a poetic mojo all of its own.

Sometimes you have too much to say about a great movie you watched but at the end you just give up and say nothing.

Very slow burn portrait of the tedium of life as a refugee awaiting asylum has enough quirky, off center character details to maintain interest (Knudsen and Collard are hilarious as a teaching double-act) and a simmering study of perpetual perplexity from El-Masry. Combines great observational humour with the underlying dreariness (and subtle horror) of displacement, perhaps not quite successfully releasing the considerable tension that is accrued (perhaps that's the point?).
