It isn't bad but it doesn't add anything to the original. It just rehashes and layers upon some jokes. They're not even bad jokes. It just feels overwhelmingly inadequate and it does damage to the franchise.

Never liked this, not even as a kid. Just pointless. Stop making sequels, Disney!

Hilarious and there is genuine emotional resonance with the comedy duo that is Timon and Pumba. That hug that Simba gives them at the end is the icing on the cake.

A fun retelling of the disney classic, but it's not the original. It's not bad by any means, but Disney has gone downhill since The Lion King first came out.

Timon the meerkat and Pumbaa the warthog retell the story of The Lion King, from their own unique perspective.

Much Timon and Pumbaa, very Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead.

I was blown away with how enjoyable this movie was. The animation was great. The movie was voiced by all of the original cast except for J.T.T. which might have helped the movie. It also was quite funny and had some very catchy new Disney tunes. The "Dig a Tunnel" song is still stuck in my head. My favorite part of this film is how it is exactly like Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. It's a movie within a movie showing what Timon and Pumbaa are up to in pivotal points in the first Lion King

So fun to watch (some really hilarious moments and classic movies references) if you don't pay too much attention to the plot but overall pretty much pointless.

Direct-to-video and it feels like it. Relies heavily on the original, and the added material doesn't have nearly the same impact. A few good jokes, but it's just not enough.

rvw. had it at 100 just cuz lion king lol. it starts like a 90. but the timon stuff has some lesser parts. and the rest has a few sprinkles of it. seeing teen simba acting like he was actually raised by them is nice. but i still didnt like teen simba lmao needed a diff voice. the theater disney ending was 100 though. think that was 2019. jan 2021 rewatch it might be the funniest

It ain't the original, but it's quaint in its own peculiar, haphazard way. Enjoyable without offending the original subject matter (see: any Little Mermaid sequel), which is a positive in Disney's line of straight-to-DVD sequels.

Harmless and easily forgotten but way better than the first sequel and quite funny here and there.

Usually if you get to a third movie of a disney series it's a sad thing. this was actually pretty good. Not nearly up to the original's standings, but a good watch

The Lion King 1 1/2 mostly focuses on the comedic aspects of the original, and does so surprisingly well.

I was pleasantly surprised by this parallel story. I don't know that I'd watch it again, but I'm not sorry I watched it. The scene where Timon is trying to remember the phrase "hakuna matata" made me nearly rofl.

In no way does The Lion King 1 1/2 measure up to the standards set by the original movie, but it does add an enjoyable twist to the fable.

Better than you might think, interesting concept and execution, though Lane can be annoying in such a high dose.
