Pleasant animation, delightful characters and a solid enough little story. Nice traditional feel and a lovely attention to detail but doesn't have the ethereal magic of Tale of Tales or that lovely hedgehog thing.

Lacking in the ambiguity his 'Tale of Tales' and 'Hedgehog in the Fog' receive acclaim for. Its content is not much different from fables in the west, but the style is typical for Norshteyn.
