Little Annie Rooney

Flicker Alley release. Amazing to see different techniques and camera shots for such an early film. Liked how they didn't require an intertitle for every line of dialogue---some things are just apparent. Throwing bricks (!?) got tedious after awhile. Mary Pickford was really tiny and almost pulls off being 33 playing a teenager running around with hoodlums. Multi-ethnic cast. Fav scene: the emotion conveyed and the camera set up of having the policeman notify her that her father died.
