Sometimes sweet, sometimes sad, sometimes humorous, but always entertaining, this was a lovely movie. Sybil Jason is a beautiful and very appealing little girl, while Armstrong and Horton make a fun pair of con men. All the actors are good and the movie is quite touching. It's not a Christmas movie, but I'm glad I saw it at this time of year, as the concept is fitting for the season!

Michael Curtiz over at the Warner Bros lot directing this snappy little number starring child star Sybil Jason. While in the Curtiz filmography this one might not pop out as anything must-see, it's quite entertaining and fast lipped with Robert Armstrong & Edward Everett Horton doing terrific with the mediocre material given. Jason is sweet with her British sounding dialect. Absurd plot, but entertaining because of a quality cast and polished directing.

Remarkably not charming, considering cast, director, etc. Another reminder to us all that a movie is not a "classic" just because it's old

Cute movie and another studio's equivalent to Shirley Temple. Sybil Jason had a nice career as a child star and instead of rivaling Temple, she acted along side her. Montgomery and Horton were great as the con men completely changed by this little girl.
