Little Fish, Strange Pond

Okay, people without an overabundance of brain cells are quite likely to find this "pretentious". What it IS is philosophical, macabre, and VERY funny. It's the dark, twisted flip side to "I [heart] Huckabees". Also called "Frenemies"--neither title is particularly felicitous, or even suggestive of anything the movie is really about. Apparently, Zach Galifianakis is on the DVD cover--quite misleading, since he's only in one scene. A quirky gem with a great script--it needs better marketing!

This film is a complete deception. I rented because it was supposedly a comedy with Zach Galifianakis, he still was featured on the cover and does not appear more than five minutes into the movie. Besides all that, the film is pretentious and stupid at the same time.
