This look into the the life of an ex-addict starts well but ending isn't that great. Weaving and Blanchett did great job.

It's well acted but the plot seems to go nowhere and the characters feel empty in a wrong way.

The editing and direction during first hour was interesting to follow. Both Blanchett and Weaving were nice but the latter half brought drugs on the table and everything went wrong in all fields. Tying the strings in the end was kind of meaningless.

stellar acting, which makes first half of the movie worth your while. The plot leaves the viewer hanging, as the story goes nowhere. Overall a disappointment.

well directed, and acted, hell, it's extremely well done in those areas. the problem is in the writing, it's just too slow in the begining, the ending wraps everything up much better, if the end were reflected in the rest this movie would be amazing, but i cant help but feel that some more could have happened in this movie. the ending scene is spectacular.

Weaving is unrecognizable as an ex-footballer turned addict --he creates a three-dimensional portrait from a sympathy card.

one of the most boring movies that i was about to die while watching. useless, except Cate Blanchett and Hugo Weaving's perfect performances.

Blanchett does what she can, but we spend a long, long time sketching out character relationships and histories before the plot rattles to a conclusion that feels like an afterthought. The unexpected and presumably unintentional Weekend At Bernie's homage is where my enjoyment peaked, unfortunately.

The dialogue is just too vague and ambiguous. I rarely knew what these miserable people were talking about.

Bir aile trajedisini anlatan filmimizde tempo sorunu olduğu bariz. Yönetmenimiz, Cate Blanchett'i ön plana çıkarıp, arka planda konuyu anlatmak istemiş. Ama olamamış. Bir haticeye neticeye bakınca 0,25 kuruşluk bir poşet.

Thought the plot was a bit messy, good acting otherwise.
