Charming and beautifully animated.

I'd ask if I can live here but I don't get why magic school teachers are always so reckless about student safety

This is a lot of fun and the animation is so fluid, colorful, and fun. A great short for kids and adults alike.

Quick, rough, and absolutely oozing charm. Trigger's animation is so smooth and endlessly watchable, it really adds a lot to all of their work. Also Sucy is such a great character, I could watch her casually evil/mischievous actions all day long.

This was cute but entirely forgettable.

There's not much to say about this - it's easy to watch due to its quick pacing and frantic animation but there isn't much substance to it otherwise. An entertaining short that's full of charm but is too short to really be meaningful. Still, not a bad start to a longer series.

Cute anime shot, the main character is rather annoyingly dumb and isn't used great. Glad they learned how to use her when the full length anime, based off this short, came out

A fun, light, and simple one-shot that anyone should enjoy.

Little Witch Academia was part of 2013's Young Animator Training Project, or "Anime Mirai". It was a fruitful year that got us both this and Death Billiards. I find the charm of this one wins me over in the end. I love the Takehito Harada-esque art style, and although it's conceptually nothing new it hits all the right nails when it comes to being an enjoyable Magic Academy genre story. Deserves its own series.
