RKO remakes their own Rafter Romance (1933). The original starred Ginger Rogers & Norman Foster, so James Dunn & Whitney Bourne is a step down. And it's a step down production wise too. Living on Love (1937) is still funny, but could have used a better leading pair. Dunn pulls it off okay with his funny face, but sadly Bourne doesn't. Not the right role for her. She becomes too wooden. Might be why she only appeared in 10 movies. So if you have the choice go for Rafter Romance.
