Locked Up

A teenage American girl in Thailand ends up in juvenile prison, where the evil warden is making the prisoners fight to the death in bouts being broadcast online. Everything about this direct-to-video WIP flick is the absolute drizzling shits. Atrocious dialog and acting, a nonsensical story, the two fights you actually see are beyond weak and the climactic escape is just retarded. Even the shower scenes sucked. Everyone involved of the production of this abomination can fuck right off.

The film has few redeeming qualities. It is badly written (which is probably its smallest problem), has atrocious acting and some of the most uninspired line delivery that I have seen, alongside nondescript screen presence by virtually all the actors. This is coupled with poor casting throughout where even the main lead and villains feel dramatically miscast for a b-movie female prison flick. In its defense, the story flows with a decent pace and it makes sense.

I don't understand the low ratings. OK, the performances are not that good, but the rest: story, script, and more, it is not that bad. To say the least, you can follow the plot with no problem.
