Interesting idea, but no funny enough plus the psycho son is not psycho enough.

Why Julie Delpy decided to make this crap and why did I watch it ?

Lolo (2015) is a exceptional thin French soup mixed together by famous actress Julie Delpy, who starred, wrote and directed this thing. Could only have been saved if they slaughtered the spoiled mama's brat in the film, but they barely hurt him.... not good enough!

A bit unfocused film, which doesn't really make up it's mind whether it's a comedy or a drama/thriller -- nor which themes it should focus on (country side vs. city, young vs. old, etc.) There's still a lot to like here; Delpy is not afraid to show her age, and as a director she is really good at comedic scenes. The dialogue is also a lot raunchier than in American dramedies. I believe Delpy has in it her to direct a knockout and I truly hope she finds a better story next time.
