In which Patrick Keiller argues the destruction of the urban space is not the opposite of construction, but instead it is the same process, just caught in different stages of transition. City space constantly in flux, to a dangerous point. Via Fredric Jameson, it is indeed to easier to see the destruction of the world before the end of capitalism, hell the latter benefits from the former.

This is the same concept as Robinson in Space only focused on London and its suburbs. Narration heavy, rather fun in a weird way, static shots with pointed but obtuse commentary, a bizarre through narrative that you can take or leave. I enjoyed this one a little more, it felt a bit more focused and cohesive so I'd recommend anyone curious to watch this first.

Very Greenaway-ian in its removed dead-pan documentary approach.
