Losing Isaiah

Despite good performances & a pretty honest (probably too honest) take on the kind of drug-using parent that might lose their child to foster care, it's a miracle this got made. Truthful enough that it presents the kind of conflict where there are no winners and asks the audience to consider arguable, highly polarizing ideas on race & asks you to empathize w/ a downer character only liberal ideologues can root for, this is well-made but - like life - the solution still feels unsatisfactory.

Halle Berry'nin gençlik yıllarında çektiği filmi. Esrar bağımlısı 1 anne, çocuğunu çöpe bırakır. Çöpten son anda kurtulan bebek, hastanede çalışan 1 anne tarafından evlat edinir. Çocuğunu öğrenen Halle Berry, üvey anneden almak ister. Halle Berry çok başarılı. Gerçek 1 kadın ve anne olmuş. Sonlara doğru dava sahneleri sıksa da, konu ilginç bir hal alıyor. Filmin sonunda, Isaiah annesine kavuşuyor. Vazgeçen ah ben değildim. Sonuna kadar da direndim.

Honestly, why should we give a shit? Both for the cause and the movie.
