Country bumpkin comedy with Judy Canova being hit by a couple of con-men pretending to produce her in a movie as long as she pays. Funny if you like this short of thing (Beverly Hillbillies, etc). Lloyd Bridges turns up in a surprisingly educated manner. I'm glad he didn't get typecast in that kind of role, but he pulled it off to full effect! A lot to like here. Canova's yodeling included.
