Lets forget the movie and talk about the important thing, that being the band wagon that is starting to gain steam for Aaron Echart's chance at an Oscar. His performance is obscene yet diverse, as 1)he stands on hot coals for an extended period of time w/out sweating; 2)Dances with a parrot 3)Passes out underwater in a hotel pool 4)Attempts to use the most obscure meaningless word to court Jenny Aniston. You hear that noise? Its just me poppysmicking (inside joke for those who got thru this)

These two decent actors are stuck in a dead movie with only small signs of life here and there. The writing is slow and plodding without any genuine interest in the 'romance' between the two leads. This should have been sold to the Lifetime channel.

Overly dramatic, overly melodramatic, and just not a good film. No feels associated, whatsoever.

I watched this on a plane without sound, and even then it was still painful to watch. All 21 points are for Martin Sheen being in the movie -- why he's in it, though, is beyond me.

The movie runs at an extremely slow pace, agreed that grieving is a slow process doesnt mean that the movie has to be slow. The movie seems to be on just a single tone which is boring. The movie lacks a strong story. A movie that can be passed.

I hate this kind of movie. Without identity, superficial. Designed to be melodramatic and cute. But simply not convincing.

Jennifer Aniston is a good actor. Aaron Eckhart played author & motivational speaker role and his grief was hidden inside him. Excellent movie that I enjoyed watching with my family. Great actors with an interesting story line that does offer some important life lessons. Great ending by the way!

Hollywood romance about a self-help guru. Is this meta-bullshit?

Considering the cast (how IS it that I keep seeing Jennifer Aniston movies when any appeal or ability of hers so completely escapes me?) and the plot, this was not nearly as bad as I expected. Which is not to say that it was actually good.

This movie is an absolute cringefest. It's just so shamelessly dramatic.

Usually I don't go for "When Harry Met Sally" type of bullshit. And, I consider Jennifer Anistan to be one of the most boring actresses to have hit Hollywood in years. BUT, I cannot deny that "Love Happens" is a sweet little chick flick that is well made and fairly intriguing.

"Eckhart operates on cruise control, but the performance can't be helped as the screenplay is insincere and the overall tone of the film is inconsistent." - Adam Keleman

The movie was surprisingly dull for having such a great cast: Aaron Eckhart of Meet Bill, Thank You for Smoking, and No Reservations, and of course Jennifer Aniston who needs no introduction.
