Very quirky and bizarre film. Mirando Otto's performance was great and considering I usually don't like her, I found her very likable as well. It was awkward and weird, but all in a good way, and made me laugh out loud a lot. It kind of lost focus towards the end though.

Proof positive that random scrolling through the black hole that is Netflix streaming can sometimes yield rewarding results. This has a few minor unnecessarily quirky aspects that knock it down a few notches from near-masterpiece status, but it still feels like the closest thing to the follow-up to Sweetie that Jane Campion never made. Also Miranda Otto is completely amazing in this, possibly one of my favorite performances ever. So much cringe-y awkwardness all around.
