Loving

Entertaining from start to finish. Mellow and low-key in showing the interpersonal dynamics of the utterly bored adult, the melancholic grown-up who without noticing falls victim to a level of childhood narcissism that puts himself and others in unnecessary drama. The last segment is containing extreme levels of cringe - be warned. But not cringe due to poor filmmaking, but cringe exactly BECAUSE of an excellent portrayal and enactment of the descent into stupidity. Great build-up of tension.

Meandering and ultimately uninteresting, but beautifully shot and almost worth seeing for Sterling Hayden in an Abe Lincoln beard.

Thoroughly blah drama. The climax in particular feels like the most contrived thing in the world
