Lúa vermella

As a short film this one could be great. I kind of like the idea and it sureley has some great artful imagery. However, even though it is not a very long movie with its approx. 85 minutes it is torturingly boring along the way. I wish I could like it more but it will be interesting to see more from Patino.

Of course hell is like a red sea with three witches, strange monsters and a man lost in the sea who don't come back the same. Eerie, beautifully planned through landscape, distant, still shots. I guess I admire more than I love it, but that's enough. Folk horror done right.

Cinematography is just fantastic.

into it, cool concept and some great visual and sound work, but coulda been 20 minutes shorter
