Among the clients of the hotel are a young Kurdish man called Mehdi, who abandoned and escaped from the terrorist organisation; a family who fled from the oppressive Taliban regime; Pelin, a drug addict, who ran away from family pressure; and a gay couple who came to settle in Istanbul with the hopes of living their relationship freely.
