Low budget, but uses the budget really well. It's not without it's fault but it does what it sets out to do. It's entertaining, it shows lots of love and understanding towards Metal Gear Solid, has interesting weird villains, some humour, etc. I look forward to the next part. It's been a little while since I've seen it but I'm going to rewatch it soon, and maybe I'll even like it more than an 80.

I was drawn to this out of curiosity more than anything, but I am a fan of the Metal Gear game series. The budget is clearly very small, & the actors very clearly amatures. But the way in which the budget is used and the obvious, probably unhealthy and obsessive love that the cast and production team have for Metal Gear Soild does shine through! I admire this movie more than actually like it. In reality, as with most fan fiction, the acting and direction is terrible, but the effort is top class.

This is a fan film and it started off with a lot of promise. The intro is really nice and well acted and the illusion of a well-budgeted professional film is created. After about 15 minutes, when the film gets going properly, that illusion starts to warp and bend eventually shattering into many fragments of comically dramatic dubbing juxtaposed with weak, nerdy, hesitantly acted movement. The two combined just gets funnier and funnier. On the whole though, it was actually rather good.
