Made of Honor

It wasn't that this movie was bad. It just didn't click. The plot moved jerkily and the romance just seemed forced. Dempsey and Monaghan have chemistry but not enough to pull off a really great movie. Worst of all, for a romantic comedy, there wasn't much outright or implied humor.

Cute and mildly entertaining. But it got tiring fairly quickly.

it's My Best Friend's Wedding with a pretty guy in lieu of Julia Roberts. Also, much less funny.

Cliché ridden. This was not how Sydney Pollack must be remembered.

Very meh romcom with all the expected plot points as well as the expected complete lack of respect for any country that isn't America (in this case they're lampooning Scotland), but it passes the time okay & does have a few nice moments. The beginning & ending tie together nicely, there's a cool scene between Tom & Hannah involving a pot of salt, & I laughed at a couple bits. It's not very good, but I didn't hate it. I'm still not huge on the "redeeming a womanizer" trope of the genre.

Must stop watching romantic comedies on planes. Michelle Monaghan has that sexy rolled out of bed look for most of it though.
