Very melancholy and actually a bit disturbing, not exactly what I expected based off of Huck Botko's short film Until There Are None.

Having run across this with no beforehand information, It took a while before I realized that this was not a serious documentary, that's largely because of Eugenia Yuan's pretty damned believable performance. In nearly every aspect this is somewhat of a dud, it's an obviously second rate movie with poor acting, aside from Yuan, occasionally poor writing, and a visibly low budget. Even if it were done perfectly, I'm just not sure how good you can make a mockumentary about a mail order bride.

"Analogous to an overly long episode of Punk'd in which the moviegoing audience is the punkee." - Nick Schager
