Oddly charming. Malkovich makes it watchable.

It's obviously not as good as Smithereens by the same director but this was still a lot of fun. Weirdly sad(?) ending

I shouted f*** you at the screen while watching this because it is so insulting to the viewer's intelligence. It's a god-awful movie stuffed with every possible cliche about women. It's just a fish out of water story with a "robot." It's mildly funny at points and gets some camp appeal with its 80s chic, but its biggest sin is it's boring and has a great set-up it does nothing with. Not only is there no robot shenanigans, but there also isn't even any real marketing throughout the movie.

A ridiculous movie about an android falling in love with a PR Agent who has been hired to ummmm. . , "soften" him?? This IS a weird movie that is somehow watchable and somewhat intriguing.
