An interesting piece of history, but nothing that terribly entertaining. Extra points to the Agatha-Christie-esque tongue-in-cheek ending, and the cynicism running throughout.

For a low-budget exploitation flick the story is so damn complicated. Low sound quality didn't help understanding what is going on either. The film itself is a cross between James Bond and Seijun Suzuki movies. Surprisingly lead actors not only look good naked, but have some acting ability too! Nothing you have to see, but not terrible either.

Starts promisingly, but meanders through a not particularly interesting (and unnecessarily convoluted) plot to an unsatisfying conclusion. Its main flaw? Wasn't gritty enough. There are bits to enjoy, though. Walker knows how to direct, the cast do some fine work, and the setting and locations work well. The score sounds a bit like it was from the 1960s Batman series at points. I liked Luan Peters, even when clothed. Sorry. This is worth a look, but there are better English crime films.
