Man to Man

Early explorers thought the pygmy people were the missing link, and regarded them as sub-human. The movie is painful because of the exploitation these poor primitive people had to endure at the hands of the so called enlightened man. Being put on display at a zoo was the ultimate insult. Joseph Fiennes plays the scientist who captures them and later fights for their release. Overall it was interesting but I quickly became bored with the 1800's mentality of it all.
