Manden uden fremtid

Whatever this mess of a story was about it had Denmark's highest paid actor Valdemar Psilander playing a almost Douglas Fairbanks wannabe. Would Fairbanks had time to make an impression already in 1916? I know he started movies the year before and got his break-through this year, but enough to have Danes copy his energy already?! Regardless who inspired this energetic performance, it was the only real thing to take positive from this movie that otherwise consisted of a lot of letter reading.
