Just pure nonsense, which is fun, but is also tiring. What are we even doing here? If I rated gave this a better rating, after reading the plot synopsis, would you trust my opinion and actually watch this?

Could someone please tell me why they needed four writers on this hackneyed, unoriginal, tired, unfunny pair of cinematic Y-fronts? The jokes are so old, anyone who has seen any number of films, large or small, can see them coming a mile off. The script, more generally, is so contrived as to be sickening, and the performances are so unconvincing, you'd be forgiven for thinking everyone in the movie was a mannequin. The original wasn't the best thing ever, but this is a whole new level of bad.

I really don't understand the hate this movie's getting. It's actually a pretty original concept compared to the boring trite recycled crap most movies are. Though I realize originality has little to do with quality in the end, it should at least be a bit interesting cause of that. It also has lots of so-bad-it's-good 90's fashion, and quite a few lovable characters.

Actually better, in a technical sense, than the first one - better-edited, better-paced, with a better male lead. But it's just blander. It sets up some kinda funny situations without doing anything with them, and somehow blandifies Hollywood Montrose (say what you will about Hollywood, he wasn't bland). It just doesn't seem to believe in the original's fun. There's still fun stuff, like a glam hip-hop swordfight climax, but it's mostly a generic 80s comedy, and we already had plenty of those.

Though it was a critical and box office flop, I thought it was watchable and mildly entertaining. It's similar to the first and stars Kristy Swanson as the mannequin. The character of "Hollywood" returns in this one.

Basic and predictable, but funny and a generally fun rom-com from the 90’s. You get exactly what you expect.

The mole...ugh. And they couldn't come up with another theme song?

It's dumb. Really, really dumb. But, it has a certain odd charm if you're into cheesy 80's and 90's comedy, which I happen to be. Kristy Swanson is stunning & charming, William Ragsdale gives an alright performance, and Meshach Taylor returns and also turns in a decent job. It's nothing special, and really nothing even all that good, but it's a fun little movie for what it is.
