Would it sound misogynistic of me to say this movie would be improved if Rock Hudson had just chopped up Paula Prentiss into tiny pieces and fed her to a grizzly bear after their first encounter? Possibly. Guess I better not say that then.

Funny at parts, but I found myself getting very frustrated with the cast of characters that insist on making minor problems into big ones through their own stupidity.

Would this be as funny without the knowledge that Rock Hudson is gay giving everything an extra layer of meaning? Maybe, maybe not, but it's still effective and turns what should be a forgettable comedy up a notch or two.

Kind of Bringing Up Baby's remake with better casting.

Very funny. Especially Paula Prentiss bringing chaos into the life of Rock Hudsons character.

An amusing Hawks comedy. One of Rock Hudson's best.

damn, thanks for the spoiler Thegoodboy. this might be even better than BRINGING UP BABY and by extension about as great as screwball comedies get, possibly because the screwball butts hilariously against the fundamentally languid nature of later hawks. it's covertly pretty damn gay as well, which will hopefully pique the interest of a few more people here!
