Marley & Me: The Puppy Years

Just the worst.

I truly can't imagine anyone watching this non-ironically. I spent most of my time pointing out all the potential innuendo ("He's a Marine! They're used to being wet!" "He's just obsessed with meat.") and groaning at the apocalyptic laziness of it in every possible department. All the animals talk using creepy CGI mouths, but the lead (Travis Turner), with his reedy voice and sexless nature, is perhaps the most unsettling element of all. The plot is not worth mention, nor are the stereotypes.

An abomination.
