Marona's Fantastic Tale

I would've guaranteed you I was going to shed tears based on the description alone, but this left me bereft of emotion. The unique and ever evolving animation techniques were often beautiful but rarely focused enough to keep my son and I fully engaged. I equate it to something like Across the Universe (or Good Will Hunting if you're a jerk like me), great in small doses but too too much for feature length. Art is subjective. I thought Cry Wilderness was gorgeous so judge for yourself.
